I cannot believe this was our last Friday in Kindergarten! We squeezed every ounce of fun out of this week we could.
We celebrated Mick's Super Kid Day. His family came in and shared donuts with the class. Sofie read "Pigsty" by Mark Teague.
Lila's Grandparents came in as mystery readers and read "The Very Quiet Cricket".
We finished up our last math unit. We learned how to find missing numbers in number sentences and practiced tallying bundles of five by recording how many times a coin landed on heads or tails.
We met with our reading buddies for one last time to share our love of books together.
On Friday we had a class party to celebrate the end of the year. It ended in a concert by Joel Frankel!
I sent an email home with details regarding next week. It will be busy and filled with fun! Be sure to check it out to be aware of what we have in store.
